Overview

HR 11 is a universal product used for the removal of cement residue, lime, smudges, and white efflorescence (calcium carbonate). Cement-based contamination on facades or masonry can be safely removed with HR 11. This product is also suitable for resolving color differences in mortar caused by white efflorescence.

Removing Efflorescence
White deposits on bricks are commonly known as efflorescence, which is why you may also find HR referred to as "efflorescence remover" online. Efflorescence appears as a white deposit on brick walls or facades. It is a salt deposit, crystallized salt, that cannot always be rinsed away with water alone. As long as salts remain in the masonry, the efflorescence will return. Therefore, choose an effective treatment with HR 11 for removing efflorescence, lime, or cement residue. The advantage of this product is that it can be safely applied to all types of brick and cement-based mortars, except shell-containing mortars.

Instructions for Use – HR 11
HR 11 lime and cement residue remover can be applied undiluted to the contaminated surface using a block brush, lambswool roller, or a low-pressure sprayer. Once applied to the brick, facade, or masonry, a foaming reaction will occur. Repeat this process until no reaction is observed. Then, rinse thoroughly with cold water under low pressure.
