Weber Waterproofing Inject (1 piece)
OverviewWaterproofing injection cream against rising damp, for all common masonry with a moisture content of up to 95%. Penetrates deeply, filling the smallest pores. Applicable to all common masonry. Very easy and quick to apply. Contains 80% active ingredients (alkoxysilane & siloxane). This product is applied using the Weberdry Gun.
Usage
Preparation
- Remove any old plaster layers up to at least 80 cm from the injection point.
- Completely remove poorly adhering plaster layers and repair damaged masonry.
- Remove loose joints and make the wall dust-free.
- Drill holes in a horizontal line every 8 to 12 cm with a diameter of 16 mm in the joint. The depth of the hole should be equal to the wall thickness minus 5 cm.
- The drilled holes should preferably be drilled in the joint.
- For walls with high moisture exposure, drill two rows of holes with a maximum distance of 8 cm between the horizontal holes.
- Ensure the drill holes are dust-free by blowing them out with a (hand) pump.
Application
- Completely fill the holes with Weberdry Inject using the pressure-free dosing gun, Weberdry Gun. Start at the back and work forward to ensure complete filling.
- After full absorption, the holes can be filled with a Weberrep or Weberdry product.
Recommendations
- For corners, holes must be drilled in both walls.
- The walls above the injection zone can only dry if all wall coverings (plaster, paint, etc.) are removed and suitable dry conditions are present.
- Depending on the situation, a water-repellent product from the Weberdry range should be applied to protect the wall from moisture.
- Do not mix Weberdry Inject with other materials.
- Weberdry Reno can be applied as a top layer.
Limitations of Use
Do not apply Weberdry Inject:
- On cellular concrete.
- With a moisture content higher than 95%.
