Application:
Preparation:
Ensure all surfaces in contact with Weber Beamix Cement-Based Plaster Mortar are free from oil, grease, dust, paint, or other substances that could affect adhesion. Remove any loose material. For porous or gypsum-based substrates, treat with Weber Universal Primer Concentrate to improve adhesion.
Mixing:
Water amount: 0.17 – 0.21 liters of water per 1 kg of mortar. Mix in a plaster bucket using a mixing paddle. Start by adding 75% of the water, then gradually add the dry mortar. Continue mixing until you achieve a smooth, homogenous consistency. Ensure the mixture is lump-free. Do not add any other substances.
Application:
Apply the mixed mortar at temperatures above 5°C and below 30°C. Use within 2 hours of mixing. Apply the plaster with an aluminum float to a minimum thickness of 10mm. The mortar can be applied in two layers if necessary. After the first layer has set, wet, smooth, and polish the surface for a flawless finish. Once hardened, the plaster layer is ideal for tiling, painting, or further decorative treatments.
Additional Information:
Tools can be cleaned with water. Once hardened, the material can only be removed mechanically.
